As an award-winning small business specializing in selling locally crafted-wines, Blue Mountain Wine Crafters is passionate about both their products and their community. The company approached our Graphic Design course to ask for help in refreshing their brand.

I identified that it was vital for the brand to emphasize both the hand-crafter quality of their process and their story as a way to connect with customers. I designed a typographic logo that retained an artisan feel and developed a series of highly-textured birds of prey illustrations to further drive home the hand-crafted quality. Both the bird and the color of the varietal label work together to communicate the type of wine to the customer. Finally, the labels themselves feature a unique die-cut, based on Antietam Creek where their shop is located.
